Lamar CISD is committed to providing students the technology they need to get ahead. The INTERACT Academy is a direct result of this commitment.

Each summer our teachers gather for a weeklong technology training course where they are introduced to the newest classroom technology and learn ways to efficiently integrate this technology into instruction. This hands-on training allows teachers to become comfortable with the technology, which translates into more meaningful classroom instruction.
