The Briscoe Eagles Boys Track Team participated in their first track meet of the season on Thurs. The 8th grade team took first place and the 7th grade team took third place.
Placing for the Eagles 7th grade team for the running events in the 100m were Jason McDonald in 5th place and Ty Larson in 6th place, the 200m were Jake Flores in 1st place, Cortland Adams in 5th place, and Chris Cobbin in 6th place, the 400m was Christian Barillas in 1st place, Collin Williams in 5th place and Cade Burr in 6th place, the 800m was Collin Williams in 1st place, Cody Ewing in 3rd place, Tyler Marcheli in 4th place, and Joseph Aventurado in 6th place, the 1600m was Cody Ewing in 3rd place, Robert Price in 4th place, and Tyler Marcheli in 5th place, the 2400m was Robert Price in 2nd place, Joseph Aventurado in 5th place and Max Haines in 6th place, the 110 hurdles was Cortland Adams in 1st place, the 300m hurdles was Blake Ropers in 1st place, Jake McCune in 5th place and Amryn Williams in 6th place, the 4x 100m relay was 2nd with the team of Christian Barillas, Ty Larson, Jason McDonald, and Jake McCune, the 4x200m relay was 2nd with the team of Ty Larson, Chris Cobbin, Jake Flores, and Jason McDonald, the 4x400m relay was 1st with the team of Christian Barillas, Chris Cobbin, Jake Flores, and Collin Williams.
In the field events, in the long Jump was Christian Barillas in 2nd place, Jake McCune in 4th place and Ty Larson in 6th place, the shot put was James Nidoy in 5th place, the discus was Caleb Terrell in 3rd place, Cade Sitka in 4th place, and James Nidoy in 5th place, and in the high jump was Cade Burr in 4th place.
