I hope everyone who attended Curriculum Night enjoyed meeting their child’s teacher. I also hope everyone was able to understand the rules and procedure of the classroom. If questions or concerns come up in the future please do not hesitate to email your child’s teacher to clarify any issues.
We are continuing to grow student-wise as our kindergarten classes are above the state required limit. We are in the process of adding another kindergarten section to relieve the overloads. Parents of kindergarten students will be notified if there is a change to their child’s schedule. I understand that no one may want to move to a new class, but all classes will benefit from the smaller number of students. Each child will be able to get more individual help. Please bear with us as we try to create another classroom that will benefit all students.
We will also be hiring another Life Skills aide. These interviews will also be this week and we hope to have both positions filled by next week. Have a great weekend. Go Texans!!!

Spirit Wear Shirts: The spirit shirts this year were a huge success! We are currently sold out but we are placing another order next week. Order forms will be in your child's Wednesday folder or you can order online through our new website www.austinpto.org and pay by credit card. Please turn in all order forms by Tuesday, September 22nd.
Please understand that we have to order a certain quantity from the company to guarantee our low price. We need forms turned in on time so that we will have an accurate count for the order.
**Don't forget that the tie-dye shirts run small, you'll need to order one size larger than what your child normally wears.
Fall Festival and Silent Auction: Our Fall Festival is planned for Friday, October 24th from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. We are currently looking for sponsors and volunteers.
