We have a number of holiday activities planned for the coming weeks. Our large choir will be doing a Choir Tour visiting various nursing homes throughout our district on Tuesday, December 9th. It will be from 9:00 – 1:30. First grade Career Day will be this Friday, December 5th. We are all anxious to see what our 1st graders will come dressed as in recognition of their career choice. The Lamar Junior High School Band will be performing Christmas music for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students on Thursday, December 11th at 1:00 pm. Many of our former students will be entertaining our current students. We look forward to a great performance.
Parents please come check our Lost and Found area - it is growing with coats and hats.
Our 2 fundraiser nights will be Tuesday, December 9th at Il Primo and the following Tuesday, December 16th at the Chick-fil-A in Bella Terra. We hope to see many of you at these PTO fundraising events. Give mom a break and take her and the family out to eat. Be sure to mention that you are from Austin Elementary when receiving the bill.
