Campus News

During the month of December, Campus Climate Surveys will be available for parents, staff members, and 5^th grade students to complete for their current school.  Every campus in the district will be participating in this endeavor to give feedback to the schools, district and the state.  This survey can be accessed online.  The district will be sending out reminders to parent via email blasts and callouts.  The 5^th grade students will complete their survey at school in the computer lab.  Access to this survey will available from December 1^st to December 21^st.

I would like to thank all of the parents who brought baked goods to school for staff members to take home over the Thanksgiving holidays.  I know my treats were excellent and were completely consumed in a short period of time.  We have some great bakers in our Austin family.  Thanks again!!!

We have 2 big events coming in the next few days. The Polar Express will be coming this Friday to Austin Elementary School.  All grade levels will be participating as we celebrate the season.  Also next Tuesday, December 16^th is Chick-fil-A night at the Belle Terra location.  We hope to see many parents and staff members in attendance. 

There will be an awards reception for all UIL Participants in the school cafeteria on Monday, December 15th at 8:00 a.m.  Parents are invited to attend.

Parents please have your child check the Lost and Found in the school lobby and on the steps of the cafeteria - the pile is growing!!!
