Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Be sure to let your child’s teacher know how much we appreciate them. There will be a weeklong celebration with PTO furnishing lunch and various treats. I will be cooking hamburgers for the staff on Wednesday so if I smell smoky you will know why. We look forward to a fun week for teachers and staff.
The following week is the final phase of STAAR testing with 3rd and 4th grades participating in reading and math tests while science will be given to 5th graders. Also retakes for 5th graders will also be occurring. We ask that parents not come to school on the STAAR testing dates to keep the school environment as quiet and orderly as possible. Good luck to all our STAAAR testers.
Fifth grade parents you should be receiving your individual student STAAR testing results in the take home folder today. You can see how your students did and find out if they will need to retake. If you have any questions about the results please give us a call and we will help you to understand the testing scores.
