A score of 5 on an AP exam is equivalent to an A in college.
In May 2014, at the end of his junior year, George Ranch High School’s Josue Gonzalez earned a 5 in AP Spanish Language and Culture.
Josuee, now a George Ranch senior, not only received the top score, but was one of only 91 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam, answering every multiple-choice question correctly and earning full points on the free-response section of the exam.
Maria Kennett is the AP Spanish Language and Culture teacher at George Ranch High.
