The Houston Chapter American Marketing Association (AMA) has named Lamar CISD’s Community Relations Department the 2014 Marketer of the Year for K-12 Education.
Lamar CISD received the honor Thursday at the group’s Marketer of the Year awards, held in Zilkha Hall at the Hobby Center.
Lamar CISD was one of only 21 category winners, as determined by scores from a local judging panel.
AMA Houston is the area’s premier professional marketing organization and the nation’s largest American Marketing Association Chapter.
