Members of all four Lamar CISD high school dance teams gathered to present a $2,000 check to The Rose. The girls raised these funds by selling t-shirts as part of their Pink Out campaign for breast cancer research.
This is the second consecutive year the dance teams have raised funds for The Rose, an organization aimed at reducing deaths from breast cancer by providing access to screening, diagnostics, and treatment services to any woman, regardless of her ability to pay.
