Andrea Nguyen Jade Kanemitsu
Andrea Nguyen is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2017 at Foster High School. She is the daughter of David and Linh Nguyen.
While at Foster, she was a member of the National Honor Society, the Power Set Club, the Interact Service Club, UIL Science and the tennis team.
She will attend the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in electrical engineering and computer engineering.
Jade Kanemitsu is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2017 at Foster High School. She is the daughter of Wayne and Connie Kanemitsu.
While at Foster, she played tennis, was treasurer of the National Honor Society, a member of the Workforce Industry and Technology Club, the Green Club, Interact Service Club, the Asian-American Culture Club, Transcultural Club, Foster Friends and Academic Decathlon.
She will attend Rice to study biological sciences and statistics and then medical school.
Graduation exercises for the Foster High School Class of 2017 will be May 27 at 7 p.m. in the Merrell Center, 6301 S. Stadium Lane in Katy.
