At its May meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of a new leader for one of its campuses.
Jearine Jordan is the new principal for Travis Elementary. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and has her master’s from the University of Houston.
Prior to coming to Lamar CISD, Jordan worked in Houston ISD as an assistant principal, instructional coordinator and teacher.
