At its regular March meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees approved Nicholas Cavallo to be the new campus athletics coordinator and head football coach for George Ranch High School.
Since 2013, Cavallo has been working at Terry High School as a special education teacher, defensive coordinator, strength and conditioning coordinator, track and field coach, head junior varsity football coach and men’s soccer coach.
Prior to Terry, he coached football at Purdue, Rutgers and Campbell universities.
Cavallo is a graduate of Purdue and is working on his master’s from Lamar University.
