Please join Lamar CISD in recognizing April 22-26 as Educational
Administrative Professionals' Week.
At its March meeting, the Board of Trustees approved a
resolution declaring Educational Administrative Professionals' Week. The
week-long event is celebrated throughout the nation and celebrates the valuable
members of educational teams who contribute in many ways beyond their
traditional function as an administrative assistant.
Educational administrative
professionals provide support for students and staff and are charged with providing accurate
record keeping services which is highly important in an educational environment. They
serve as trusted communicators with parents and community members and their
connection to the community fosters positive public relations for the District.
