Dr. Roberts facilitates a breakout session in Brno, Czech Republic.
Dr. Jennifer Roberts, director of Student Services, recently traveled to the Czech Republic to present at the fourth annual International Congress on Collaborative-Dialogic Practices.
Thirty-two countries were represented at the three-day conference held at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. This interdisciplinary program provides an intensive, in-depth study of the possibilities for personal, organizational and social transformation. Practice examples include working within educational contexts to dive in to personal and social issues, organizations, research, community work, healthcare and more.
Dr. Roberts co-presented with one of Lamar CISD's partners, the Houston Galveston Institute (HGI), on supporting student mental health.The presentation was centered on the social and emotional supports for students in Lamar CISD and was a key point of discussion throughout the conference.
