Williams Elementary has been selected by the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TASBE) to serve as a demonstration school. Williams Elementary and other selected demonstration schools will be honored at the end of February at TASBE’s annual conference where principal Anitra Wilson will share strategies, systems and practices of Williams Elementary.
The demonstration school title stems from the Dr. Jay Cummings Demonstration Schools Collaborative. The goal of this collaborative is to bring together high performing schools, from across the state, in order to share best practices and inspire other school leaders.
