Chancellor's favorite quote is by Marcus Aurelius, "Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars and see yourself running with them.”

He would like to recognize his high school and junior high band directors, his parents, and his calculus, physics, and chemistry teachers for their support and inspiration.

Chancellor’s goals are to learn a few languages to fluency, become a world-class tuba player, travel to many countries, add value to the world, and most importantly, positively impact his family so that his future children are even greater. In his free time, he enjoys learning languages, playing piano and tuba.

Salutatorian Sanidh Shah is the son of Jigisha and Udayan Shah. He plans to attend the Honors College at the University of Houston with a concentration in Biochemical and Biophysical Sciences (pre-med).

Additionally, he was a local representative for Houston in the Young Jains of America and a member of the Jain Fellowship of Houston.

Sanidh has received multiple scholarships including the University of Houston Tier One Scholarship, the Indian Doctors Association Award of Excellence and Scholarship, and the British American Foundation of Texas Merrimac International Undergraduate Scholarship. His honors include the U.S. Congressional Award, multiple UIL wins, finalist for the Posse Foundation, and he is an AP scholar.

His favorite quote is from Mohandas K. Gandhi which says, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”

Sanidh’s goals are to successfully enter medicine and use those skills to do philanthropic work. In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, and playing badminton.

We congratulate both scholars on their impressive achievements and wish them the best in all future endeavors.
