The Texas Bluebonnet Award Program is a state-wide program for students in grades 3-6. Its purpose is to promote free-choice reading and expose students to a variety of quality literature. It is one of the most distinguished children's literature lists in the country.

Jane Long Bluebonnet Challenge???
Students who read at least 5 books by January 13, 2023 are eligible to vote for their favorite. Students who read the required number for their grade level AND take the quizzes on AR are invited to try out for the Battle of the Bluebonnet Team. Required Numbers:
Third Grade - 7 books
Fourth Grade - 10 books
Fifth Grade - 10 books
