Lamar CISD realizes that some of our students may have needed medications in our school clinics. Each of our campuses will be open on Monday, March 23, 2020 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. so parents can pick up any essential medications students will need while schools are closed.
Please note that this is not an end-of-the-year medication pick up, but rather an opportunity to pick up essential medications students will need between now and April 10, 2020.
Our school nurses and administrators will be on hand for parents/guardians to retrieve their student's essential medications. We are asking that you come to the school during this designated time with a photo ID and a personal pen to sign the authorization for medication administration form stating you have picked up your medication.
Parents/guardians and students will not have access to any part of the school building except the school clinic.
Please adhere to the following guidelines for medication pick up:
- Parents/guardians will report to the main entrance of the school.
- Parents/guardians will be asked to wait outside the building and will be invited into the clinic one at a time to pick up their student's medication(s).
- We are asking those waiting in line to please comply with social distancing and safety protocols.
- Please remember to bring a photo ID and pen to sign the form.
