We know this past week has been challenging as we experienced unprecedented winter weather for our area.
As we continue to work through these challenges together, we wanted to provide you with an update on the status of our campuses and instruction for next week.
The District has addressed any damages caused by the inclement weather, and all Lamar CISD campuses will be open and resume normal operations on Monday, Feb. 22.
The only exception is for students who attend our Powell Point program. Students in the Powell Point program will pivot to asynchronous virtual instruction for Monday, Feb. 22 and Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Additionally, Hubenak and Adolphus elementary schools are the only Lamar CISD campuses that remain under a boil water notice. If these boil water notices are still in effect, we’ve taken the proper precautions to safely accommodate students and staff on those two campuses.
Again, the entire Lamar CISD community remains in our thoughts and we look forward to seeing our students and staff back on Monday.
