My name is Nicole Bertrand and I am so excited to be joining the Smith Elementary Superstars!! I have a passion for helping students reach their goals and full potential. Before I began my journey as a counselor, I was a teacher for many years. I have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I enjoy working closely with students and love celebrating their success with them.
I enjoy having fun and making memories. I love helping families, schools and the community come together to help our students to be successful and to celebrate accomplishments.
In my free time, I love anything with nature. I like to go hiking and traveling around the United States to see all the beautiful sights in nature.
As a counselor for Smith, I hope to build a strong connection with all students. I want to help grow a family community for all students to feel they are welcomed.
