Mrs. Sierra Garivey King was announced as the new LCHS Associate Principal at the March 25, 2021 school board meeting. Mrs. King received her Bachelor of Arts - Mass Communication in 2009 and her Master of Education Curriculum and Instruction in 2011 from Sam Houston State University. King received her Principal Certificate from Lamar University in 2014. Her professional teaching career started at her alma mater, LCHS where she was the Journalism teacher and an English teacher from 2010-2015. From 2015-2017 Mrs. King started her administrative career at Lamar Junior High School as an Assistant Principal. In 2017 Mrs. King moved back to LCHS as an AP. Mrs. King is very dedicated to the success of and continuous growth of the entire campus and blue track!
