Jearine Jordan, Principal

It is my pleasure to welcome you to McNeill Elementary School.  Our dedicated staff works very hard to meet the individual needs of all students, and maintain personal connections with their families.

I invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTO, or attending and supporting school events. Research clearly supports that when parents participate and are involved in their child’s education, there is a greater likelihood of academic success for the child.

I truly believe that communication is the key to a successful educational experience. Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of McNeill Elementary School.  During the course of the year, it is my hope that we will work together to provide the students of McNeill the best possible opportunities in preparing them to be world class citizens.

Ava Dickerson, Assistant Principal

With great pride and enthusiasm, I introduce myself to you as McNeill Elementary School’s Assistant Principal. I come to you with fifteen successful years of experience as a classroom teacher at the Elementary and Secondary levels. My professional experience has allowed me to develop a profound educational platform that spans across the curriculum.

I enjoy spending time in the classrooms, getting to know the students while also supporting their learning. I view the time that I spend with our scholars to be both meaningful and rewarding. McNeill Elementary reflects student-centered instruction and strong relationships among parents, teachers, community members, and the administrative staff.  Our work as educators is not easy, and none of us can accomplish success alone. Each member of our learning community plays a critical role in helping our students succeed. McNeill Elementary is a community of learners dedicated to establishing strong relationships and creating a solid educational, social and emotional foundation for the students and families we have been charged to serve. I feel privileged to lead and to be a part of this journey with you.
