Common Threads accepts donations of clothing for children ages 4-18. This can be either uniform or non-uniform clothing as well as backpacks, or school supplies. Everything must be gently worn, please! We also take purses, belts, cosmetic bags, and used books as well. We take only new socks and underwear though. Even though our hours vary, please feel free to drop off your donations at our new outdoor bin located in the parking lot of Common Threads (414 S. 9th Street, Richmond, Texas 77469)
Common Threads relies on donations and contributions from local businesses and community members. Donations are accepted throughout the year at every LCISD campus or at Common Threads during regular hours. Common Threads will sponsor various drives during the year to keep items in stock for students. All donations are tax deductible.
Items can be new or gently used and include:
- Clothing, especially school uniforms size 4-XXL
- New socks and undergarments
- Shoes
- Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant)
- Coats
- Backpacks
- Tax deductible cash or check
Summer Donation
Summer clothing donations are being accepted now! Items can be new or gently used and include:
